HTC weather animation leave me alone.

I dont use the widget or the weater app itself, yet it insist on playing the unlock animation. Ive made sure that the checkbox for fullscreen animation is unchecked. which shouldnt be an issue anyway because I dont even use it. anyone else have this problem?

Are you aware that you can launch apps or any other thing you want to do while the animation is running?

yes but its annoying. everytime i unlock my phone theres clouds or rays of sunshine or something going on. and its on any screen.

Are you running widget locker?
If so go to settings, look & feel, and edit HTC Weather Animations there.

I'm sorry you feel that way, personally I enjoy it. I think it's really cool to have that feature as my phone unlocks, as long as it doesn't hinder me from using it while it's running.

well its just because im trying to read an sms or something and i have to wait for the clouds to clear out before i can see the messages. i actually quite like the animations too they just block what i can see at times.

haha right after i read your post i immediately remembered seeing that option.

i agree. the animations were cool at first, but seeing them all the time, kind of annoying after a while. i actually got rid of that widget and added 2 smaller ones for the clock and weather. i still have all the same information, no more animations, and now have an extra row of icons for my home screen.
