HTC weather not updating

I hope I'm not alone in this (then someone could know the answer). I have noticed my stock HTC weather app will not automatically update any more.

I noticed it after the update HTC sent out (don't know if they are connected, just trying to give all the facts). I have stopped and started the Incredible, activated and re-activated the widget numerous times.

After going into settings and turning on auto updates I can back out and go back in and it is not checked. I can't get it to activate and stick.

Same here with mine. This started after the update along with some other minor changes.

I'll have to keep checking to make sure the sync is still checked for a while, but I guess the update did it somehow.

What other changes have you noticed?

I started get chimed notifications for calender and sms messages which I did not have it set to do.

Same situation as op. I even called HTC tech support and they seemed baffled by it. Mine stopped updating weather after the os update.

Try this, go to Settings> accounts & sync and check auto-sync.
