there has got to be a way to get the new HTC widgets. when you try to download them from the 2.1 leak, its says they are not available.
someone put some brain power in this. If the leak is there then the widgets are too.

maybe htc hasn't made them available since they haven't released any 2.1 sense phones...so theres no need for them to make them available

lol that certainly would make sense (no pun intended). They're thought might be "well, no would should have access to them, why would we have them up??"

yea, most likely the server it pulls the data from is not online yet since there's no phones with this version of sense out in the public (officially)

i wonder if the server is up and they are seeing all these hits to the server, which there should not even be one hit count hahahahahaha xD

IF they have the server set up and running to deliver OTA widgets, it's pointless to try with the leaked build. The fingerprint for the phone will clearly show it's running a test version.

ProTip: When running leaked or hacked software, it's always best to stay far away from the manufacturers or software publishers website :)

Why stay away??

Why stay away??

Well, none of us are supposed to be running this software, least of all any Hero owners who have it hacked in. If HTC were to get all pissy about it, they could blacklist your phone's ID from the market, have Vzw blacklist your ESN, or worse. Microsoft can cripple your PC remotely when you try to update a 'pirate' copy of Windows if they want to, maybe HTC can as well.

ALWAYS let someone else be the guinea pig :D
