Huawei NM Card

So i have been using my Mate 20 Pro for almost 2 months now. And 2 weeks back i bought the Huawei 256gb NM Card.

But in the past week, a notification saying that the memory card has been unexpectedly removed showed up. It showed up 2 times.

Anyone having the same issue?

I'd be concerned that either the card is defective/corrupt, or there's an issue with the SD reader. If you have any important data on the card, make sure to back it up now, in case the card becomes completely inaccessible.

Those cards come with a warranty, get it replaced ASAP. Sounds like it's on it's way out. Back it up and get it replaced.

I remember a 32GB MicroSD doing this back in the day with my Galaxy S3, the card eventually became unusable.

Warranty... Im in Indonesia... Bought the NM Card here but threw the packaging away... Weird thing is even when the notif shows up. Its actually still working. Like the notif means nothing.

Hi, im pretty sure neither the device or nm card is to blame. Im 90% sure its the software. As it was working fine before the latest update.

It also happens to my Mate 20 Pro few times since the last update in January. I'm sure it was the update. Huawei should recognize this problem. Any one here lost their data or corrupted the NM card? Does this error affects the phone? Hope not.

I mean if it was REMOVED.i would have to go to settings, storage and MOUNT it again. But it was mounted all the time. Didnt have anything lost or whatsoever. Now im pretty sure its the update. As the notification shows System UI.

But im kinda glad im not the only one with this bug. Im pretty sure it aint the device or NM card.
