Huawei Nova 2i from PH, 4G not working in US (MetroPCS)

Greetings!
I just moved from the Philippines to the US.
My phone is Huawei Nova 2i.
My current network provider is MetroPCS, it can call and send messages but the internet is only on "E" and is extremely slow. I can only send online messages using Messenger Lite. I can't even download apps using my data.
Will I have to buy a new phone or is there a way to solve this?
APN changes doesn't seem to be working.

You need a new phone. The hardware frequencies in the antenna of the phone isn't compatible with 4G frequencies in the US.
