So the title sais it all really. Now that the App Gallery has the Curve app on board, according to the tech sites they seem to think it might be a catalyst for the other major players in banking to follow on. I was just wondering what everyone's thoughts were about this and if they think the tech sites are on the money ;)

I don't use Curve myself, but I know a few people who do, and since, if you use Curve, your should always use it because of the cashback, I think it doesn't matter what bank you use.

I do hope it will kick start something. However I think it's already a huge if not nr 1 priority for Huawei, especially UK banks, due to the UK having such big influence on it, which so many global banks.

Yeah i use curve and its great so its amazing to have it on the appgallery for my p40 pro. Id def recommend it. I hope you are right that it's a top priority for Huawei and we see more and more coming across soon.

Yeah, I guess if you have Curve, you only need to set it up once, even if you bank doesn't have their App available on their App Gallery , you can do it on the browser and you're set.

Actually how does Curve work exactly? I understand you can go back an change the payment method, does that work between debit/credit card and also do they give you a physical card or is it just mobile payments?

I don't know much about curve but I think they're on to a winner getting the app ready to go, I might give it a go myself

Id 100% recommend curve. How it works is they send you a card and you set up all your different accounts on the app. Then within the app you choose in real time what account the curve card currently represents. So I've got my main debit account, my joint account card and 2 credit cards hooked up to curve and i can leave all those 4 cards at home and just have my phone and my curve card and use any of them whenever i like.

there are some other cool features too like if ive used the wrong card i can "time travel" and for a short time after the fact i can change the card that was used for some transactions. So if i accidentally use the joint account i can change that to another account which is really handy.

That's actually pretty cool, basically kinda like PayPal, but with extra features and you actually get a card.

Oh, can you add credit cards?

Yeah kind of like paypal in a way that you can have multiple payment sources in one place but its a card in stead of a website. Yeah you can add credit and debit cards no problem and just jump between them at a click on the app. It's brilliant and i would really have missed it if it wasn't available on the AppGallery or Petal Search. But it is so happy days. Hopefully my main bank will come across soon too now that curve is leading the way.

That's legit pretty cool now that I think about it. I'll check it out, especially since it's on Ap Gallery. How does the cashback work, is it monthly/yearly?
