Huawei - Open control panel on locked screen

Hi,

Used to have a Xiaomi on which I could acces the control panel (to turn on wifi, hotspot, flash light etc...) from the lock screen after swiping down. On my Huawei I can't seeem to find that option.......anyone can help me out?

That would surely be a security risk. I can’t imagine it on a modern phone.

Yeah ok I understand (in a way). Why did the older models have that function still installed? Cause I do like to be able to swicth my hotspot on/off quickly without having to enter my code.

I did found out I have a pull up menu from bottom screen where I can operate the flash light. That's at least half the hassle

Welcome to Android Central! This issue does come up in discussion with some regularity regarding security, so it's possible that Huawei considered feedback from customers and decided to take that ability away.
