Welcome to Android Central! Where did you get the phone? If it was a floor demo model, it may have a special demo ROM installed, in which case you'd have to root the phone and flash the stock ROM, if available. The forums at XDA-developers.com is a good place to look for that kind of thing.
I assume you've already looked through the system settings to see if there's an option to turn off Demo Mode, right? One of my colleagues also suggested looking in Developer Options.

It looks like that Demo Mode is different from the kind of demo mode you see on a floor model (i.e., where it automatically plays what is essentially a big ad for the phone): Android N Dev Preview 3: Demo Mode Is Back, Now In Developer Settings. This makes me think that the issue is with the ROM that's installed on the phone. You'll have to look into rooting the phone and installing the stock ROM, as I mentioned before. Sorry, but I don't have any expertise in that.
