Huawei P20 Pro kernel version

[Android Central Question]

Hi, I am planning on giving away some phones to a charity shop to help a cause important to me but just have a question about one of the phones.

It's a Huawei P20 Pro. Under kernel version it says:
4.14.116
android@localhost #1

I've never seen this before on a phone. As far as I am aware it hasn't been rooted (root checker app) says it isn't rooted, or anything like that.

I was just wondering if anyone could explain what this means please?

It's the Linux kernel version the phones software was built from. Every Android phone has a Linux kernel.
