Don't know if GPS interest you, but P30 should be one of the few new phones having dual frequency GNSS reception, giving accuracy down to potentially few decimeters instead of 5m on traditional GPS chips.
If you've got time for it, could you try to have it lying outside for some time and watch if it got any L5 or E5b numbers in the CF column of GPS test (must be this app to be sure), and what is best accuracy you get ?
