I love how Huawei is quick on giving us updates now and it's not in a staggered way like Samsung

These are minor software upgrades. It remains to be seen how often or quick they will update the actual system.

It feels very staggered. still awaiting updates in the UK that everyone else seems to have had for ages

Lol same here with Bell. I check maybe twice a week now.

msg Huawei mobile didn't get much help I asked them if they have provided the newest firmware update 153. They just told me that it's up to the carrier update has been provided. So you need to have your sim card (which i'm already using my phone with a sim card) and they also mention that carriers would tend to push updates updates on imei? so if you bought the phone from the same carrier you'll get the update first? so if you bought a phone from another carrier would that affect it I mean i've already gotten an update from Telus even though I got my phone from Rogers. I don't know how true that info is from the Huawei Mobile. Personally it doesn't make sense I would assume it's base on sim card rather than imei.


Any thoughts?

Not sure on your problem but we got 156 about a week ago at Bell, probably wouldn't be that much longer...

I've noticed that the camera produces more color accurate photos.

That's good i noticed that even with that previous update the camera still has a problem with Orange (color) it looks more like red. I'm hoping the 178 will fix that issue.

Also better auto-focus on close up objects along with a more consistent HDR. Sound quality is improved with more open and clearer sound when streaming.

I measure house interiors and exteriors all the time. It's probably a nifty feature but I highly doubt it will be practical for someone like me. We will see I suppose but I'm not counting on it to be useful.

Tried with my own height, very accurate.
