When I try to take a picture with my phone it shows them in the square in the camera box. When you transfer it to the gallery there is just a white square. You also cannot save a picture that is already on your phone. You cannot share a picture or send a picture to messenger or texting or anything else. Last some of my apps that can save to SD card say they can't. Please someone help me I need to take some pictures for an important reason thank you Linda Hasty

Welcome to Android Central! Is the phone set to save photos to the SD card by default? If so, the card itself might be the problem. It could be corrupt, defective, or counterfeit. Install SD Insight to see if the card is genuine or counterfeit. Counterfeit cards are programmed to report more storage than they actually have, and if you try saving more than the card can actually hold, then files can start getting corrupt.

If it's a valid card, then go to Settings>Storage, Unmount the card, remove it, and insert it into your computer. Can the computer read these files?
