Hi!

I have an Android lollipop phone (Huawei Y6). The accessibility options for all the services are automatically disabled by the system after a while, no matter how many times I switch them on for a number of services.
I do not use Lux, LastPass... I have disabled the auto brightness feature...

Any recommendation? Many thanks in advance!

Welcome to Android Central! Check to see if your phone has aggressive battery-saving features. Based on my Honor 5X, it seems that Huawei likes to add those kinds of features. Perhaps this kind of power-saving mode might be turning off accessibility automatically.

Many thanks B. Diddy for your prompt reply. Based on your suggestion on the battery options,
I found a thread where teshnair posted the following:

I had the same problem ever since I got my Huawei Mate 8; after a few experiments, the below is what worked for me...

Settings --> Advanced Settings --> Battery Manager --> Protected Apps.
Protect all apps that you need the accessibility for.
Restart phone.

Settings --> Advanced Settings --> Accessibility.
Turn on accessibility for the required apps.

Haven't had a problem since.

It seems to work! I will monitor for a couple of days.

Thanks!

Good to hear, and thanks for describing the solution! Huawei's battery-saving features can be overaggressive to a fault.:-\
