This calendar doesn't allow you to set bi-weekly reminders!!! Big problem for me. I have several things I need to remember bi weekly and I cant even put it in manually because some months say have 5 tuesdays. That alters the following months schedules if I left it alone.

I need a calendar with more options. any suggestions.

as a ps, the alarm clock was missing simple features too. luckily i found a free alternate, but wtf, no calendars?

Well...I'm making one, but it won't be available for a while.... (as it's more of a task manager on steroids than a calendar).

Anyway, you can do this on Google Calendar, so I would just set it up on the calendar website, and let your x sync with it (which it should already do).

Thanks, I will give that a try. Haven't really given any thought to google mail or calendar. I have been using my old email, and only set the google account up because it was required.

Google calendars (online) most certainly does support any sort of weekly repetition (every week, every other week, every three weeks, etc). It's how I've been doing since I discovered the lack of biweekly support in the phone app.

Agreed that it's a stupid flaw that should take very little time to fix, but at least the work around isn't too hard.

Note: In the online calendar app select weekly under "repeat" and then options come up for how many weeks you want, from every week up to every 30th week).

This is what I do for paychecks.

That did it. Thanks very much. I saw weekly but had not selected it to see the options for how many weeks you want. I just thought it meant weekly from the day of the event.

+1 Thanks much! Worked great and actually very similar to how I had it set up on my former BB.

Does Froyo fix this? Haven't heard anything but I know there are some improvements to the calendar app in 2.2.

For those of you familiar with Pimlico Software's outstanding PalmOS app, DateBk6, and its more recent cross-platform app, Pimlical (think DB6 on steroids AND on your desktop AND on your mobile device AND syncing with GCal), the developer has announced a soon-to-be-released Android client for Pimlical. If you aren't familiar, trust me when I say that this app will make take your calendar and/or task management beyond your wildest dreams.

AFAIK, it hasn't been released just yet, but based on a May email from the dev, I am eagerly waiting...keep your eyes and ears open!
