huge signal loss issues on 2 different razr hd's

Usually 3 or 4. There is one specific area where the droid 4 has 5 bars with solid 4g signal and the Maxx Hd has 3g with two bars.

That is strange then. My 4g is solid here in Los Angeles except areas known for issues in general where I drop from 4g to 3g. Unfortunately I have low 4g signal at my house, 2 bars. So with this I don't seem to get faster download than about 4.5Mbps and still an impressively staggered 3-5Mbps upload.

I live in los angeles where we have complicated cell issues, too many people on at the same time and varying terrain. I have a Galaxy Nexus and my wife has a Razr HD. The Razr has far better reception! Get Network Signal Info from app store to graph your signal and see what it's really doing. My Nexus often shows EHRPD where the Razr shows 1RT or LTE and can open web pages when the Nexus cant. The EHRPD from what I understand is software that handles the handoffs when switching signals. Most experts say that Motorola phones have the best radios...

I got my Max hd 40 days ago. Silly thing would refuse to connect AT ALL using the wifi hotspot. So Verizon sent me a replacement. Same darn problem with the replacement, then I saw on the forums that they had a software update coming out to fix it .. so I decided to wait ... HUGE MISTAKE. 2 days ago, the phone dropped internet connection all together, then i was finally able to coax it back to a VERY SPOTTY 1x. Been there ever since .. no 3g, no 4g, 1x. Called Verizon and they basically told me to stuff it. Offered to replace the phone with yet ANOTHER Maxx hd.. but why would i want the same problems? this is a business phone, and I cannot afford to be this unreliable with the connections. Verizon just lost a 5 line business customer, as the contract ends, so will my 5 lines with Verizon.

Sound harsh? I don't think so. They knew they had a issue with the hotspot when the replaced the silly thing with a known broken replacement, and their pathetic treatment of me today is gonna cost the a customer for life..... even though I HATE the thought of changing companies again.

I would assume Wi-Fi hotspot acts up just ad the HD messes up with Wi-Fi in general. The only fix is to convince them to send another phone and to be honest Android in general running Jelly Bean has been a Wi-Fi disaster for me. That's on both the Note II and HD Maxx.
