Hulu Plus stuttering

Just got my Note 10.1 2014 and I'm experiencing massive stuttering when using Hulu Plus.
I don't have this problem using Netflix or any other streaming app. I have the stutter issue in Hulu on low and high quality. When I use the Hulu app on my ipad everything works great. I use the Astrill VPN app on both my tablets.

Have anyone had issues like this? I have factory restored tablet and reinstalled app, no change.

Yeah hulu had always given me a problem on both my note 2 and roku. It's something within hulu itself I'm thinking. Netflix Amazon and crackle all play just fine for me

Hulu has never been a very good service in my opinion. Even the online stream to web browser stutters some and perhaps through the app that service's defects are even more amplified.

Perhaps it's because of the server of hulu.com which is getting slower as soon as more and more people are connected to the server to watch videos. You could have the best connection available, but if the Hulu servers are being hit hard, it may not be delivering the content and fast as it can be watched.
The stuttering may also comes from the way the show is broken up for showing ads, it's actually designed so that you are only buffing one section at a time and not the whole show. Which may cause problem.
To be honest, I'm outside the US and watching Hulu and netflix through Purevpn.com US servers (it helps me to unlock restricted contents ) and confirm that as much as watching netflix and listening to Pandora is smooth and enjoyable, watching hulu is kind of annoying and I believe it's from Hulu side.

Has anyone had any luck w/ this problem, my Note 8.0 is running KitKat and Hulu stutters. I've reinstalled but still the shows stutter and the commercials are perfect.

I had a similar issue with the ads. Clearing the apps' cache seems to have helped as everything's working great now.

It is not hulus servers. I had perfect hulu+ streaming on my note 2 but ever since verizon pushed the kitkat update to it hulu now stutters like crazy. It is something with the app and kitkat on some devices as my moto x kitkat streams it perdectly. Is your tablet running kitkat? It could be an issue with touchwiz kitkat devices
