Husband Calls Himself...??

My husband has had two calls from his own Galaxy S5 phone number. His S5 rang & the caller ID stated it was him.
When you view the call log it shows as as missed call from his S5 phone number. He was so shocked, he didn't answer either time.
I was just wondering if it could be spammers using his own number to get him to answer?
Are they that advanced now? Just kind of curious! Thanks! :-*

You're probably right. When I dial my own number it goes to voicemail, so I feel safe in saying that at the very least you were getting a call from a spoofed number

it was a spammer that had put his phone number into their phone's "Return Number" that the viewer sees. Most likely though, it was a computer call and not a cellphone that called him.

He did well to ignore it.

He was probably trying to warn himself......Stay Single........Too late, he's stuck with me now!
