Left Sprint with an EVO 3D and went to Verizon. Tried the LG Spectrum and after being thoroughly frustrated and unimpressed, I got a Rezound instead.

Maybe I'm just a HTC junky but, WOW this phone is slick. Fast. Easy to read screen. Sound is phenomenal!

Just thought I'd drop by and say howdy.

Hey, I just got mine on Saturday and I'm loving it as well. I can't get over how great the display looks. Just incredible. Equally amazing is the camera pics this thing takes.

I also came from Sprint and LTE is a nice upgrade from my spotty 3g on Sprint.

Sent from my rooted HTC Rezound

Howdy!
So how does the Rezound screen compare the the LG Spectrum at the same resolution 1280x720? That was a SAMOLED screen AFAIK, so may be brighter but maybe more cartoony, less true reproduction in colors?

Most people agree that the Rezound still has the best 720p screen out of the 3 phones shipping with that resolution...but thats a personal preference issue too.

The Spectrum's screen is actually pretty good. I'd rank it #2, but very close to the Rezound, which I say is still #1 in the screen department.
You gotta remember that LG makes displays, including the iPhone ones, if I'm not mistaken. They aren't packing as many ppi (pixels per inch) as the Rezound, but the quality is still very sharp. However, the screen is pretty damn glossy, so it looks like it could get annoying after a while.
But at the end of the day, the Rezound, Spectrum, and Nexus all have some worthwhile HD screens to gawk at.

Screen comparison between the Rezound and spectrum is too narrow for me to pick. They are both beautiful. I think the LG is a little better in direct light like outside but I didn't worry about that. It would be difficult to pick a winner honestly but sense blows away the LG UI and that really sets them apart.

My complaint was lag on the LG. It wasn't smooth like the Rezound. The browser constantly lagged and became unresponsive.
