Hyperion Battery Breakin

Hyperion says to completely charge and discharge this battery for 4-5 cycles.

I thought this was unnecessary for Li-Ion?

What is the recommended method?

I use this product and have done so since I got my Note back in Feb. This was my first accessory purchase.

I also used the Hyperion batteries when I had the GS2 Epic Touch, and in both cases I never performed any special charging method with the batteries.

In my experience they seem to work just fine, with little or minimal drop off from the OEM battery.

I bought the hyperion batteries and charger at the same time as I ordered my Note. I use them a lot. I didn't see instructions like that when I got my charger or maybe I thought it was ignorable information. Regardless, I haven't done it and my batteries work fine. I swap them in and out of the note at various stages of capacity and there's no sign of it being a problem.
