HyperX Camera Mod 1.52 help Please?

Hi all. I'm new to android. Just replaced my Iphone with the Galaxy S3 SPH-L710. I've rooted my phone and am trying to install HyperX's camera mod. Have tried to install it with Clockwork Mod Recovery and says it installed it but I don't notice any difference in my videos. Plus some of the button functions that were supposed to be changed have not been. I saw someone mention briefly somewhere that it doesn't work on the stock ROM. What ROM version should I use? Thanks.
