I absolutely love the Note 9....but the low-light camera performance is KILLING ME

My Note 9 camera is great. There's a camera update being released soon which I've read will make it even better. But I guess you should go ahead and get the Pixel.

Actually it is, the longer you have the shutter open to let more light in the longer it takes to take the picture. Same goes for a DSLR camera.

Right, right...I'm totally understanding of that. But my last phones weren't as picky. That's what I'm comparing the performance to.

Did you auto focus or focus in pro mode perhaps? Heres a few I just took. Noticeably dark room jist some hall light. I was at a T-Mobile store today and they still had the low light contraption for showing off the dual aperture camera. It could be a good way to test it and you could compare it to the display models. Just a thought.

Thanks!! Yeah. Full auto. I just tapped on the brightest part of the photo to lock in the exposure. So far so good.

I had to think for a minute to find out if pictures without cats even existed... Hahaha.
