I accidently deleted some photos off my Note 4.

Do you by chance sync them to a cloud service? When I got my Note 4, Picasa was 'on' as default, so it was syncing all my photos to a cloud. I actually turned it off. If your phone is syncing them, then you should be able to retrieve.

There are several apps and programs that claim to recover pics from android. I haven't found one that has worked for me yet, which is why I began backing up to G+. Check your G+ account even if you don't use it just to see if they were backed up. If not you might try recuva on your pc and direct it to your android device. Your Note will have to be unlocked (screen) and open so that the files are visible to the pc but it may work.

How about Recuva worked for me.i pulled about 300 pictures off my phone and sdcard.

I ran into the same issue lost files didn't get them back. I installed dumpster, and now that's my backup being that I don't you cloud services. It basically works like the recycle bin on a pc.

Always ensure to backup your photos via Google + , Dropbox, or some other alternative. No one should EVER rely 100% on the device storage for photos that are precious to you -- anything could happen! :).

Can someone tell me how remove dropbox from my photo section.. I dont want it there i use that to back up all my photos

Hi all, yesterday I accidentally deleted all photos from my phone when I intended to only delete one photo. I was in a rush and selected "camera" as it was showing the latest photo - hit delete - immediate gut wrenching realisation that I had deleted the entire album not just the latest photo. I had recently been to Disneyland USA with my kids and had hundreds of photos. I use dropbox - but it was full. I had been looking for a good photo management product to back up to - but too late.

Question 1: I know you can't rely on device storage and the best advice is backup but the damage is done - so, is recovery possible - even slightly possible?

Question 2: Do you have recommendations for photo storage/management ?

Many thanks
KC

There are recovery apps available but I've had little to no luck with retrieving photos from the internal memory. But it is worth a shot. FYI the more you use/store on the phone from here on out the less likely you are to recover the photos.

I store all my photos on the SD card and usually after a series of photos I don't want to lose I'll just plug into my laptop and save them or I use a USB on the go cable and transfer to thumb drive... they even have new thumb drives that will plug into the phone and a pc

Thank you so much. Can you suggest what I can try to retrieve anything from the device memory.
