i accidently entered boot mode when powering phone on. How to get out and back to normal phone

My phone was powered off to charge. I unplugged charger and went to turn phone on. I must have held volume button while hitting power and thus entered the boot mode. how can I get back to normal without destroying data. Thanks

In Samsung, press both the power button and the volume up button till the phone restarts, in normal phones, presa power until they restart and boot into Android.
