This is a first...new phones are coming out right and left and I don't care. I have had almost every Android phone to come out on Verizon and I finally got what I was chasing. Thanks Google and Verizon!!!

I would have to agree! My phone lust has been satisfied by the Nexus. I wonder how long this will last.......

Agreed! It takes so much to make the Nexus lag. I'm constantly abusing it!

My 4 year old daughter was with my wife and asked "Can you pull up *** video?" My wife, to be fair, was driving at the moment, and said "No". (She has an iPhone 4s) My daughter says "Daddy's phone can do ANYTHING!"

:D

I do have to say I have been watching more movies and videos that I have encoded for my Xoom actually on my Gnex for when I'm working out at the gym... It plays them so smooth and crisp. The audio is wonderful (great earphones)

Let's give each other awards and trophies for buying a great phone :-)

I didn't so much care before that someone had a better phone than me. It was more frustration than anything because my Droid could not function properly due to the pathetic amount of internal storage for apps, slow CPU and 256 mb of memory. There will be several phones that come out over the next year that will have better specs, but I think this will at least keep me from wanting to throw it at the wall 12 months from now.

I am glad you guys are so pleased with the Nexus. I really like mine, except I don't have a signal about half the time. I am swapping it at Costco today for what will be my third Nexus. I hope I get one this time that has decent reception. I have seen what this phone can do by driving about 3 miles from home and parking beneath a cell tower. The phone is great, but the reception is terrible. I didn't realize what was going on on Dec. 15 when I got my first Nexus and they had to try 3 or 4 times to activate it in the store. Three weeks ago when I swapped for my second Nexus and the guy had trouble activating it I knew it was going to suck, also. Hope the third is the charm.

Yeah I have to say that this is really the first time where there are great phones in the works this year and I just don't care anymore...that's a good thing!

Once I had a taste of the Nexus, I knew there's no other phone for me. Hopefully Verizon keeps up with the Nexus line for years to come...

Mine isn't perfect (reception/voice quality could be better) but i like better than any other phone I've had (Bionic, DroidX and Droid). I really like running a custom ROM and Kernel - makes it mine with no Verizon K-Rap!!!

I am satisfied so far... but I will definitely check out VZW's version of the Note when it comes out (Journal).

I am intrigued by the phonblet form factor.

My first android phone was OG Droid. I waited for my two year contract to be over with Big Red and finally got my GN =)
I'm more than happy with it!

Well I'm back on my IPhone 4S for the foreseeable future. I had the Nexus since launch day, and it was a great phone besides the signal problem amongst other weird quirks. I sold mine last night on CL, IMO there's still not a better overall android phone than the original SGS2. I really wish Verizon offered that phone.

I agree with the OP entirely.

And there is something very cool about knowing that I have the best phone available on the market today. There is no single person on the planet with a better phone. More money can buy you a nicer house, car, watch, vacation or even a better woman (j/k), but no amount of money can buy a better phone that ours!!

I have had almost every Android phone to come out on Verizon and I finally got what I was chasing.

I'm thinking you made a too generous assumption with that statement. I realize "almost every" is subject to personal interpretation but still VZ has had a bunch of android phones.

Care to list them and see if we think those were "almost every"? :)

hmm, maybe if he meant every "hero" phone on Verizon, that would limit it down. Maybe OG Droid, DINC, Droid X, Thunderbolt, Charge, Rezound or Razr, and now the Nexus?
