I have seen this on various Roms but never one for the V. Is this possible to include the reboot and recovery option?

Your picture didnt load atleast not on my tapatalk. I think the nameless rom port has the reboot to recovery option in power options. I'm not sure I'm using AOSP which has it.

I am using the Bumble Bee Rom and I wanted to add this to it. I found it in a theme for the P500 but I do not believe I can flash it to my V.

I will the slide rom if I can use the Bumblebee kernal with the rom as I want the overclock and the ext support for link2sd that I use. I really like the set-up I have right now, I just wanted to add these options.

It's difficult to port that as it requires several files but it is working it's way into most newer roms.

I've been slowly working on getting it into Harmonia.

I know you're looking for an easy method. Have you considered using Gscript? You can create a shortcut on any homescreen that will take you straight to recovery, reboot, fastboot, whatever you need.

I've been slowly working on getting it into Harmonia.

This statement is relevant to my interests.

I use extended controls for on-the-fly reboot/shutdown control, but having it integrated in this manner would be quite elegant and nice.

While both Nameless and Slide have that option they also have extra apps/themes and that is not what I am looking for at the moment. That is why I wanted to know how I could just add this to what I am using now ( Bumblebee Rom/Kernal ). Hopefully this option will be added soon to Roms like Bumblebee, Harmonia and the like or maybe someone will post the mod or a flashable zip ( which would be awesome ) for this.. Thanks again for the info.

There was a zip to flash to add this feature on SDX when I had the Intercept however I can't find it. AOSP ROM has it too.

flashing that zip will screw your phone up. Many reasons but one of them is mismatched id's. Every picture, string (word), and xml is assigned an id usually in public.xml. These id's are used basically like a reference to call the picture or whatever. So when you change the id's the apps will call for the wrong thing and get a wrong picture.

I figured, just wanted to point out that it is possible to put this mod into a zip for us to flash. Hopefully someone can figure it out for this guy

Thanks for the info. I asked the Dev. Of bumblebee to include this in his next update, so hopefully he will add it.

I am using the 4/27 updated AOSP-CM7 for the V and I don't see it in my power options. I use quick boot from the market for this. When I flash a new recovery, I just use reboot recovery command in terminal.

Edit: I see where it is. You have to select Reboot option from the power prompt to get the reboot into recovery option.
