I am pulling my hair out trying to go from iphone to s4

I used to have a 4S. I had problems with it and decided to switch to s4 and I love it. One problem - my itunes. The guy in the sprint store told me about doubletwist app. It worked perfect. My phone could play the itunes songs and all was fine and dandy. However, I have a LOT of songs. I decided to get an SD card and transfer the songs onto there so I could free up some phone memory. When I transfer the songs from itunes onto my sd card they won't play. Probably due to the format of the itunes songs. What should I do?

Open your folder with your iTunes music and just copy it and paste into a music folder on your phone.

I just recently made the switch too from the iphone 5. I use an app called iSyncr. You install that on your phone and the one for your comp with the itunes library. Plug it in and BAM! You can transfer all your music and playlists over. You can even transfer over wifi if you want though i havent tried that yet.

Are these old songs your bought on iTunes that are protected? Might have to go re-download them without the protection. This will tell you how

Hold up. Wait.

Just download the Google play music app.

Then download the play uploader to your computer.

Then select your iTunes folder and wait half an hour. All of your music will be available to you.

Why don't you use Google Play and store it all on the Web? You can store up to 20k songs for free. It will upload all music and playlists as you have them in your iTunes.

I did it over year ago when I bailed on iphone and love it this way much better...

They have to be on your computer first.

On your computer, open the play website and log in with your account.

Go to music. Select upload. It will download the installer for you. Select your music folders to sync.

Have a beer. Open the app on your phone. Booyakasha, there's your music. (A few songs may not sync because of licensing issues. I had about 50 out of 2000 not upload).

The itunes format is aac, I think. Not sure if the S4 will play it. If you have all your music saved on your phone I'd suggest getting an app called switch. It's available at cnet.com for free and will convert your music into many formats including mp3 and wma. It might take a while depending on how many songs you have but it's worth it.

All you have to do is convert from aac to mp3 its simple. Just remember when your done if you have 300 songs it will be 600. 300 aac and 300 mp3
You can tell itunes to not duplicate nut if your using Windows it will ask
