Android Central Question

Recently I updated my android to the version 6.0.1 and recently did a rather unfavourable app update and wish to unistall the update but I am unable to find the pre-android-update 'uninstall updates' for an application. I am wondering if I can be directed to through the process of perhaps informed of a way to do so without uninstalling the app.

Welcome to Android Central! Uninstall Updates is only for apps that are preinstalled. For preinstalled apps that have been updated, tapping the Uninstall button in the app manager should uninstall updates and revert the app to the factory version.

Any apps you installed new from the Play Store can't be rolled back to a previous version -- you'd have to find an apk file of that previous version to sideload (but be cautious, because installing apks from random sites is a good way to get malware).

Which is why you should save all apps as apk files (App Backup & Restore will do it) on a PC or cloud account (or both). (I just reverted SwiftKey to the previous version because I couldn't download the overlay I prefer on the updated version. 650 apps take a little bit over 4GB on a 2TB drive my PC - not a big deal.)
