Android Central Question

Whenever I try to start my phone it says:
No bootable a/b slot
Failed to boot Linux, falling back to fastboot
Fastboot reason: Fall-through from recovery boot mode

It starts into bootloader, but I cant use any options in there or the error above pops up

Bootloader IS unlocked, TWRP is installed, this error occurred after I installed Magisk

fastboot boot boot.img (which you get from downloading the current ROM and unzipping it).

If that works (it should), get back to the bootloader and

fastboot flash boot_a patched_boot.img
fastboot flash boot_b patched_boot.img

Then

flashboot boot

I'm running into the same issue: "No bootable A/B slot" and phone isn't detected by my device or any others I connect it to. Did you ever resolve this?
Thanks.
Welcome to the forums. What did you try before getting this error? Have you tried to root your phone or flash a custom ROM?

No, this phone is stock from the manufacturer. I've tried selecting "reload bootloader" and factory reset, but it gives the same error screen.
When plugging the device into other laptops, it isn't detectable, so I can't flash it.
