I bricked my phone droid x

After trying to boot to Gengerbread, my phone keeps loopinf on statup. What do i do? I forgot to root before installing zip.

SBF back to Froyo.....start again.

i would try sbf'ing again. you can find the instructions here: http://forum.androidcentral.com/motorola-x-rooting-roms-hacks/83583-updated-sbf-instructions-gb.html

if thats successful, when trying to update again, make sure to follow the instructions to a T. youve seen the worst case if you dont. also make sure youre using the correct update file(s). there is are separate methods for upgrading from one of the GB links and upgrading from stock froyo

working just fine for me. you can also navigate to the thread manually. its in the droid x "roms and hacks" section, and the thread is titled "updated sbf instructions from gingerbread". its on the first page. even though the title suggests its only for flashing back from GB, the same applies for froyo

I would do a google search for the sbf file then. Some of the older mirrors might have been taken down, but it should still be out there somewhere
