wow thank you rkeenan, I keep mine down to 25% to conserve battery life. I wish I knew this when I was outside today, I thought it was my eyes lmao. Thanks againGo into Settings, then Display and then select Brightness...then adjust accordingly. You need a bright screen when the sun is very bright. There maybe an auto option too.

lol I know how you feelThis happened to me too. Second day with my phone I took it out geocaching. I couldn't see the screen unless I was under.a.shade tree! I was so bummed because the caching app is awesome.
Two days later a friend told me to try turning the brightness up. Duh, I had it on 20%!
Now I know to turn it up when I use it to cache.
Let me google that for youlol I know how you feelI have a noob question (prior iphone4 user) what is geocahing?
oo I love those kind of games thank you. Alright guys laugh it up lolIt's a game. You find hidden treasures outside that people hide, using a GPS. I love it!

Hi forgetfulPut it on auto brightness. That way outside it'll set itself to 100% but inside it'll go to 25% to save power.
Hi forgetfulThanks that's what I'm going to do.
See I had mine on 100% and it was still bad. But on a fascinate it was ok. The advantage must go to the SAMOLED screen vs this one on the tb.
Hi Brown, I hope that by putting it on 100% I can see something because I couldn't see a thing yesterday.See I had mine on 100% and it was still bad. But on a fascinate it was ok. The advantage must go to the SAMOLED screen vs this one on the tb.
