I can no longer see my file extensions in my files app, why?

I can no longer see my file extentions in "my files" app

I have a Samsung galaxy tab s. all of a sudden I could no longer see my file extensions or any folders in "my files" app. all I can see is the history. I can no longer access any files that I have stored on my device a while ago.

Hello and welcome to Android Central Forums!

If you can, please register with us, take a screen shot of what its now showing (or not) so we can get a better handle on what's happening. You can, try the following, its worth a try.

GOTO: Setting>Device>Applications>Application Manager>Scroll over to "ALL">Scroll Down to>Clear Data>Clear Cache....Try clearing Cache, restart, then see if all is ok. If not, shoot us a screen shot, and lets see what else we can do.
