I can not download or update any application

I can not download or update any application from google play store.

Open application manager. Swipe over to the "all" tab. Scroll down to find Google Play Store and tab on it. Choose to clear the data. Close application manager, open Play Store and let it sign itself back in.

Play Store should now work without a problem.
