I can not remove avast from my tablet

[Android Central Question]

I have Asus zm500 running Android 7 and I tried recently avast but now I can not remove it. I deactivated the admin permission but still when I uninstall it redirect me again to manage admin screen !!

I tried to email support but they are very slow in replay and never give me a solution, all they knew is to deactive the admin.

Does it show up in administrator page after you deactivate it? Maybe go to settings>account>remove then uninstall the app

Welcome to Android Central! When you say it redirects you to the "manage admin" screen, you mean the Device Administration Settings screen you shared?

What if you uncheck the other security apps there (ESET and Malwarebytes), and then try uninstalling Avast again?

No when I try to uninstall it display message that this app is managed by administrator and has two options: "ok" and "manage admin app"

manage admin apps open the picture above. I unselected this app as admin

Deactivate all that is there then reboot your device and try uninstall avast

Strange, then probably going have to factory reset
