I can unlock my tablet but it immediately goes back to a lock screen

[Android Central Question]

I have a Pritom 10 tablet Android 9.0 OS. Every time I put in the pattern or passcode to unlock it it goes to a black screen and then Goes back to the lock screen. I've tried booting it in safe mode and it does the same thing. I do not have a case on it when I try this. In my case doesn't touch any of my buttons. Does anyone know what's going on with my tablet it's my tablet or have any suggestions cause I will cause I want to get back to lock screen please help

Yes I have a case that has a magnetic keyboard. But no other Issues with power button

Sometimes a magnet can inappropriately trigger a device's smartcover sensor -- so when the magnet is near the sensor (usually somewhere in the bezel), the tablet thinks a smartcover is being closed, and therefore puts the screen to sleep. Does this happen if you remove the case?

Yes it does. The manufacturer just sent me factory reset info. That was there suggested fix

Unfortunately that may be your best option. How old is the tablet?

Did you get it brand new? If so, it should still be covered by warranty -- you can try contacting the manufacturer if the factory reset doesn't help.
