I cannot setup my gmail account on my phone again?

My gmail and google playstore stopped working and my gmail said it could not log in. I read that I should delete my email account on the phone and set it up again. I deleted it but now my phone does not want to set it up. it was my Backup gmail account that i set up when i got the phone and I don't know what to do. When i click on add google account in settings it just takes me back to the settings page.

This normally happens when someone fiddles with your password. When password is changed the google process automatically logs out and asks you to sign in again. I suggest you try to recover your account on a browser first
