I cannot type on this phone

I'm reading the gBoard reviews in the app store and a lot of people are having my same issues with force closing, keyboard disappearing, lag, stutter.

Are you using English or another language?

Well the stock keyboard is hit or miss sometimes with suggested words. You either like it or not, Imo it works fine but you must turn off the dumb autocorrect immediately..and get more used to the feel mine doesn't have any input delay or anything major like that..if it did I'd change it to swftkey ASAP.

I know PRECISELY THE AGGRAVATION he is talking about. The touch screen seems ro respond differently than my prior S6. No.doubt about it. I hate typing on my S8 phone too. It's been driving me totally crazy having to correct and retype etc. Ugh. I will tey swiftkey and hope that helps.

SwiftKey keyboard best for prediction and auto correct, password..also in web browser also corrects mistake.
Swiftkey theme's are crap and old fashioned, out dated.

Gborad has more modern theme's, looks alot better, has good auto correct. voice to text seem's better i think.
Gboard in web browser don't want to auto correct. also if you have secure folder enabled then you can't sync back up your data.

Samsung Keyboard is ok for most people, i like color change with theme. don't like the auto-correct that much.
