I can't Backup my fascinate

Hello.

I rooted my fascinate after the last OTA update without problems. I installed wireless thetering and Rom Manager. Now I'm interesting in trying a different ROM and I was trying to backup my phone using Rom Manager but this is what I got:

Android system recovery (2e)
Samsung Recovery Utils
-for BML-
reboot system now
apply sdcard:update.zip
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition

--Install frompackage...
Finding update pacakage...
Opening updatepackage...
verifying update package...
E: failed to verify whole-file signature
E: signature verification failed
Installation aborted.

I'm sure I'm missing something. Any ideas?

you need to flash CWM with odin use section 2 or 3 of clockwork section

Now I discover that I can't connect my phone to the pc. After a minute or so, the phone is no longer available in my computer.

put it in debugging mode, connect it, while connected restart the phone, once its back on try mounting the card

hey sorry didnt see your earlier post,,,, you are welcome,,,, well until someone comes with a solid fix,,,, you can try different kernels sometimes that helps.
