who thinks that Androids weakest point is the damn keyboard. By far i feel the Sense UI keyboard is the best but it still sux compared to the IPhones Keyboard ( Keep in mind i despise apple). Come on Android or HTC make good keyboard.

I loved the moto DroidX keyboard that was ported over to incredibles by XDA. So much faster and more accurate. Doesn't work with 2.2 though. Now I am back to this slow sluggish beast of a keyboard that they gave us. The multitouch one worked ALOT better.

I like the swype keyboard, even if I am not swyping. There are quite a few other keyboards available in the market, but none fit my taste like the swype keypad.

Works fine for me. I was using the HTC mod keyboard but that us not working on 2.2. Used swype occasionally.

Just try another keyboard. There are plenty of choices for android. I have 4 that I switch back and forth depending on my mood.

the problem is in portrait, the accuracy sux, it spells words that i dont even know the meaning too. In landscape if your start typeing fast the accuracy goes down as well. for instanc i tried typing france and it spelled fondules!!!

I'm the complete opposite of you, I'm a big Apple fan (i LOVE my Mac), but I hate the iPhone keyboard.. I gave up on it years ago and went to Blackberry. I tried the original Droid and wasn't impressed - the HTC/Sense keyboard is what finally won me over.
