I cant enable permissions for a third party app.

I have gone onto settings, and then apps and then selected the third party app. Then I tried to enable permissions but the permissions option is not accessible. When I press it nothing happens. How do I fix this?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone, and which app? Is anyone else acting as the administrator for the phone (e.g., is this a work phone)? Or are you logged in as a guest profile?

It is a huawei y7 2018 and the app is the skateboarding game nightstream I got off apkpure. This is my phone and there are no other users.

It's hard to say what the issue might be if you're installing an apk from a 3rd party site. There could be incompatibility with the phone. I can't find that on the Play Store -- does it go by another name?

I don't think it goes by any other name. It's from apkpure. I went onto the game and there was sign saying I could only access the game by allowing access to storage. As explained, I've been unable. Shall I send a screenshot of what the game said?

It must be something to do with incompatibility. Installing it as an apk won't necessarily get around whatever the incompatibility is. I finally found it on the Play Store, but it tells me the game is incompatible with all of my devices (and that includes a 2013 Nexus 7 running Marshmallow). Sorry, but I don't have any other ideas.

Yes, same thing -- but incompatible with everything: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.streamline.axonrunners&hl=en_US. When I click on the link for the developer, I get a message from the Play Store that the requested URL wasn't found on the server. It makes me think that either the developer pulled the game from the Play Store, or Google removed it for some kind of guideline violation.

How come there are videos of people playing it then? Was that before it was taken away?

Their website says "Available in Malaysia." When I click the Get It On Google Play button, the Play Store tells me that it's not available in my country (I'm in the US). So it sounds like a regional restriction. https://www.nightstreamhq.com/. You could look into how to trick the Play Store into thinking you're in a different region, but I don't have any experience with that myself.
