I can't get calendar to sync. Need help with Nine Exchange app.

Using whatever crap came with this new S6 Edge, I can't get my calendar to sync with my work calendar no matter what I try. (It's a Microsoft Exchange thing.) I have talked to Verizon tech support,as well as the IT people here are work and my settings are right. So....now I'm thinking about trying to install the Nine Exchange app, even though it galls me to have to pay for a calendar that will sync.

My question is, should I uninstall both the email and calendar that are on my phone now, and then set them all up again after Nine Exchange is installed? I guess I'm not clear on what the app is actually doing.

PS If you're thinking about upgrading your Samsung phone, DON'T!!! It's been a complete PIA.

Nine is a great app; I wouldn't use anything else for my Exchange server accounts.

You don't need to uninstall anything, just delete any accounts you created in the other apps (technically, you probably don't even need to do that...).

I just got off Samsung support chat and he tried to install some Smart Switch thing on my work PC. It got hung up while running, and the tech guy just signed off. So, that was helpful. Not. Wish I could just walk into an Apple store!!!

Yikes.

Install Nine. When you open it the first time it will prompt you to set up your account. Enter your Exchange server credentials, etc. Eventually, tick off the boxes to sync any or all of the following: Email. Calendar, Tasks, Contacts, and Notes.
