Couple things,
First, I'm not having any problems getting weather on my Huawei watch using either Watchmaker or other watch apps/faces, so I'm guessing that you guys may be having a configuration issue.
First, what exactly is the problem? When you say "I can't get weather..." what does that look like? Is the weather object missing altogether on the watch face? Is the object there (usually a circular window) but there is nothing in the display? Is the object there but the display is perpetually at 0 degrees (or some other fixed number)? Or something else? Or, do you mean that when you hit an interactive weather object, the watch dosen't call up an associated weather app and shift to that app's weather display?
I would do the following: first, download a well-designed app with a weather display option (I recommend Pujie Black). Then, make sure all your permissions are correct! (you can do this from the app icon or from the app settings area on your phone). If the watch and the watch face are correctly installed and permissions are correctly set, Pujie (or any other well designed face), will autoconfigure the connections needed to display and pull up the weather app. You may, of course, need to go into the watch face itself to configure details like C vs F.
WatchMaker is more complicated. First, there is no consistency to the watch faces - some display information like weather or steps but generally they do not launch up a third party app. Usually, on WatchMaker, if the weather object is "interactive" it just means that hitting it will update the weather. ALSO, some watchmaker apps use a third party .apk for a non-play store wear version of weather underground. You have to find and install that app for the weather functions for those faces to work. In short, if you're having trouble with weather, start with Pujie or a similar app and make sure it works there before mucking with WatchMaker (though I understand the draw of watchmaker - once I found the various honeypots of non-play store watch faces that you can import, I switched to WatchMaker as my default wear watchface source!).
