I cant hear people's voices on the phone

I cant hear people speak on the phone but they can hear me. If i use headphones it works fine. Im using a second gen Moto G running android L. i dont know how to toggle the call setting either. Any help would be appreciated.

Did this start recently after an update?

Does your speaker phone work to hear them? Does your bluetooth work to hear them? To me I think this may be more hardware than software, the earpiece speaker may have gone out, if these other methods all still work properly.
