There isn't enough hours in the day for me to be able to drain the battery

I have to admit, at the beginning the battery wasn't so great but now past few weeks It's been amazing! get through 10-11pm with around 5-10% left which to me is great, I don't want it to go till mid day next day since then I have to charge it, I want it to last the whole day till I'm about to go to bed so I can put it on charge and that's it.

Use your phone more. I have no problem killing it by 8pm.

I think the battery is excellent, but yes - combine enough factors, and it dies like any other phone. I unplugged on Saturday at 8am, took about 50 pix/vids at a gig in the evening, and was in and out of service to and from it. I also listened to 2 hours of music, plenty of web viewing and watched about an hour of YT. Together with a few calls, 2 push e-mail accounts and numerous notifications, it was at 2% by 10pm - but this was with nearly 6hrs SOT, and I had a charging pack with me.

Normal usage for me is 16hrs off the charger, 3.5-4hrs SOT and 20-30% left.

I am around the same as you with the normal usage. off the charger around 6:30am, 15-16 hours and I haven't hit 5 hours SOT yet like others. I thought I was an abuser but guess not. I have around 15-20% before bed at 10:30pm

It's all relative anyway. If I'm in a really bad service area, I can lose 5%ph without the phone being used. SOT is important, but it all depends on the situation that day. Some guy put a video on YT before the official S7 release saying this was the most amazing battery in the history of phones, and he was getting in excess of 6hrs SOT. This is meaningless unless you know if the phone was at 100% 7 or 27 hours ago. The S6 would get you 6hrs SOT if you just looped YT vids on it. It's be dead soon after though.

Also, the stats shown are unplugging late and showing the battery not draining much overnight. Now, I know not everyone sleeps the same, but the vast majority of people sleep when it's dark... This is quite a common theme, even from reputable channels such as this, AA, Pocketnow and so on - you quite often see battery graphs with a phone being unplugged mid evening, and saying 'I've been off the charger for 20 hours now' etc etc., when 8 of of those were when they were probably in the land of nod with the phone in doze mode.

Simple.. Use your phone and it will kill the battery. I can go for multiple days not killing the battery just looking at this gorgeous and not using ... Lol

Apparently, if you looked at the Galaxy S6 for more than 20 minutes, it dropped 40%.

Yesterday a skeptic asked me
"Why would you buy a phone with a non-replaceable battery?"

I work the overnight and on my days off I'm bored in the middle of the night. I was on my phone for almost 9 hours (shame, it's new so that's my excuse) and I couldn't kill it's battery. But the time I got under 10% I s falling asleep.

I could not be happier with the battery on this phone. Over the last year I have bought and sold an S6, 6s edge, G4, and a 6P and all had disappointing batteries. The S7 Edge is the best phone I've owned by far...

Here's mine... Came off the charger at 7 this morning, I'm pretty happy with it so far

This is easy.

I stream Tunein Radio and/or Google Play Music from about 6:30am to 4:30pm (driving to work, working, and driving home). If you stream audio that long, the phone will NOT last the entire day. I keep it plugged in at work.

You can charge it at night even if there is plenty of battery left without hurting the battery. New batterys are not like old batterys, where the proper method was to nearly drain it before charging.

New batterys are different type, and two half charges equal 1 charge, unlike old batterys.

There are some really good guides that explain how old knowledge and behaviors based on older battery technology is no longer relevant, even though it's in most peoples conscious.

Basically, charging a battery at 50% twice, equals 1 charge. Old battery technology, that would count as 2 charges, therefore decreasing battery life.

This is my useage today and yesterday. I didn't charge it last night like I normally do.
