I cant overclock!!

I have a little problem. Im running jrummys stock rom with sterling 2.2 theme, overclocked to 900 via his customizer. I went into set cpu, and it says I dont have root access. I cant get it past the standard 550 speed. Did I do anything wrong? Its a completely new install. I tried to uninstall and install the app and I still cant get past 550!! Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, thanks!!

did you choose motorola droid when it asks for the device? you have to choose auto or something, it'll play nice after that.

no, that i dont think has to do with the phone selection in setcpu. he lost root access or atleast setcpu is reading it that way. did you make a backup before you installed jrummy's themed rom? if so restore it and see if you have root. if you do have root at that point i would give it another shot.

also did you wipe data and cache before installing JRUmmy

Dont EVER CHOOSE MOTO DROID always auto detect speeds. But reflash rom and try again. It has happened to me before
