Order updated to delayed on my orders page on the Google store site. On the phone with them now to cancel as I now have no idea when it'll ship and I check out in the morning and into another hotel on Sunday.
Cancelled the shipment, getting a refund and will either reorder on Sunday or just get on with my life with the Pixel 2.

Yes the pixel xl 2 can do all of what the OP5T can do in one device but the OP5T also does things better that the pixel doesn't. For one build quality. 2nd would be feel in hand and size of device in comparison to screen size. 3rd would be security options as the face unlock on the 5T has been quick and excellent to go along with the FPS. 4th, the quick charging is second to none. Knowing I can take a 30 min car ride home from work and gain 50% is just crazy. For everyday use, the OP5T is my go to device. I don't need to carry around 2 devices. But when I know im going somewhere where photos will be a priority, its nice to have the pixel 2 to swap to so I don't have to carry a DSLR or point and shoot along with a phone. Best of both worlds.

Of course not. I'm saying the Note 8 is a beautiful, enticing phone with sleek good looks. But when you get to know it, you have to put up with some foibles and unattractive things.

For whatever reason, FedEx didn't deliver to the hotel. Now, I gotta drive 30 minutes in the opposite direction of my 4 hour drive home.
Oh no! How odd. That's unfortunate that it's out of your way! But at least you'll have your new phone soon!!

I'm still at FedEx. I'll stick around until 5:30. If the courier isn't in by then I'll try again after work on Monday if they haven't already sent it back to Google.Watching this from the UK.... Did you get your phone??
