I can't unlock my screen htc m9

[AC Question]

if I press the button on the side to unlock screen this will bring up the screen but the unlock on the bottom of the screen when I try and slide it up it is unresponsive, I have done multiple soft resets but can't do a hard reset as I can't access any part of my phone? please advise

Try to switch off the phone, take out the battery and then insert it after 2 minutes. Try to switch on the phone and then try. Hope this helps
