I compared the size of the Note 5 to the Note 7 today and did other testing

I went to my local store and they had 2 Note 7s for demo. I put my Note 5 up to the side of the 7 and they almost appear to be the same size.

Maybe I'll be able to use the Note 5 cases I have after all.

Also I did some other testing. The 5 seems to have slightly more vibrant colors even at highest brightness.

Also I didn't see a Flashlight App. Which is disappointing. That means we'll need to download a Flashlight App. They came standard with the Note 4.

The length and width are slightly different sizes. So if you have a case that fits the Note 5 precisely, it won't work on the N7.

It sucks because I have the pelican voyager for my note 5 and now I have to give it up. I should be able to sell it though, it is an awesome case and I hope they make one for the note 7.

I checked there too and didn't see it. On a side note the N7 has better wallpapers then N5 does.

There's definitely a flashlight in the pull down, it was one of the first things I checked for since I use it a lot. Maybe someone had "customized" it and gotten rid of it.

I found the flashlight app the hard way at Best Buy. I didn't see it and wasn't looking for it until I accidentally turned ON the flashlight while checking out the pull down. I only noticed the flashlight was while looking at the camera, but couldn't figure out, at first, how to turn it off, because the flashlight app is not in the app drawer or among the Samsung tools. I retraced my steps and finally found it in the pulldown, where I had accidentally turned it on.

It was my local verizon store but it was just a demo and it was in demo mode so that could have been the reason.

I don't like the flashlight being in the pull down menu. It's quicker for me to press the app to get to it.
