I did a backup through rom manager and its not showing.

After I backed up through rom manager, and then went into the "manage and restore backups" screen, it doesn't show. Was it possibly because the bootstrap wasn't in place yet? Or should I just do it straight thru the bootstrap? I just want to be certain everything iis in place to flash myself back to everything R2D2 if need be.

if you don't have the bootstrap app downloaded and enabled rom manager doesn't know the difference. without the bootstrap rom manager doesn't do anything. use the bootstrap and all of your problems will be resolved.
