I don't receive messages on my Note 8 from my aol email

Every time I send a message from my laptop, from my AOL account to my Note 8 it kicks back saying:

Failure Notice
from MAILER-DAEMON@yahoo.com
550: permanent failure for one or more recipients (mynumber@tmomail.net:blocked

I've gone to accounts settings and clicked on that account and synched mail. But still no luck.

Have you tried sending messages from other email accounts to your Note 8 in that same method?

Why not just configure your Note 8 email client to access your AOL email account directly? Then you wouldn't have to forward the message from your AOL account to your Note 8.

Welcome to Android Central! Check with T-Mobile if there's some option turned on to block emails to your phone number's email address. Most people don't use this function, so I'd guess there's a way to block it from either your T-Mobile account website, or from talking to a T-Mobile rep.
