The Verizon variant requires some disassembly and soldering, but for under $11 for the charging receiver, it was worth it for me as I have wireless charging pads all over the house for my S7. The most difficult part was removing the back to get to the 2 contacts to be soldered.

You must use the correct receiver: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU5673963

Instructions here: Galaxy Note 2 (Verizon / I605) Wireless Charging Mod - All

and youtube video to show how to remove the back https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vR26Iad4dEw

I didn't have a guitar pick so a ground down the corner of a piece of plastic so that it would fit into the crack that needs to be spread apart.

One thing the instructions didn't mention was how easy it was to knock some of the connectors apart on the chassis. just carefully align them with the circuitry and push them securely back on.
